The Family Resource Center (FRC) was established in March, 1997 with funding from the Arkansas Department of Human Services, Division of Children and Family Services. The FRC serves as a liaison between the families of Baxter County, service agencies, government agencies and civic organizations.
The primary goal of the Family Resource Center is to provide the families of north central Arkansas with educational and informational tools in an effort to strengthen the family unit; regardless of their economic level, religious beliefs, race, ethnicity or social status. These tools come in the form of printed materials/brochures, parenting classes, educational forums, workshops and support through rescources referrals.
Free child care is available by reservation for all FRC classes.
The Baxter County Family Resource Center is a division of the Baxter County Juvenile Services Office. For more information regarding the programs below, as well as other programs offered through the center, contact Angie Dalton at 425-3840 or click here
